Working on Fire offers firefighting and management training through our non-profit 501(C)3 training academy.
Working on Fire provides management and firefighting training courses that enable people, forestry operators and commercial landowners to protect, prevent and manage wildland and structural fires. Our NWCG courses focus on instilling operational principles through theoretical and practical integration during the training.
Incident Management Training
The Incident Command System (ICS) is a standardized approach to the command, control, and coordination of emergency response providing a common hierarchy within which responders from multiple agencies can be effective.
Wildland Fire Management Training
Climate change, the growth of communities into rural areas and the build-up of flammable vegetation have made managing fire riskier and complex. We provide training courses to help clients manage this increased risk.
